What To Expect

When you come in to see us, it’s important that you feel as comfortable as possible and hopefully you will feel more at ease knowing what to expect. With this in mind here is a bit more information about the process we follow with our prospective clients.

1. Initial Call

When you get in touch, we’ll schedule an initial call with one of our financial planners. This 30-minute session allows us to understand your reasons for contacting us, assess your overall financial situation, and discuss your goals. This step helps us determine if our services align with your needs.

After the call, you’ll have time to consider your options. If you decide to proceed, we’ll set you up on our portal to complete an online fact-finding questionnaire and schedule a follow-up meeting.

2. Discovery Meeting

The discovery meeting is where we delve deeper into your financial background and objectives. It’s also your opportunity to decide if you’d like to become a client.

By the end of this meeting, we’ll have gathered enough information to outline your fees. These details, along with meeting notes and a client service agreement, will be sent to you in a follow-up email.

3. Building Your Plan

Should you choose to move forward, we will arrange letters of authority for you to sign and gather policy information to draft your lifetime cashflow forecast.

We may need to reach out for additional details during this stage, and we’ll stay in close contact to ensure everything is accurate.

4. Planning Meeting

Once we’ve gathered all relevant policy information and drafted your initial cashflow forecast, we’ll hold a planning meeting. During this session, we’ll review and refine your financial plan together.

Following this meeting, we will finalise the forecast and financial plan, which will include a one-page financial snapshot summary and a comprehensive financial plan document featuring all our recommendations.

5. Implementing Your Plan

Before implementation, we’ll send you the necessary documents for approval. If you prefer, we can arrange an in-person meeting to review and sign them together.

We will then process all the relevant forms on your behalf and keep you updated until everything has been finalised.

6. Ongoing Service

Our commitment to you doesn’t end once your financial plan is in place. Life has a habit of throwing curveballs, so we will meet with you annually, or more often where necessary, to review your plan and establish how your circumstances have changed.

As necessary, we will adjust your plan, so you continue to stay on track with your short- and long-term goals.
